This project was completed in my Magazine Design Technology class. Balter is a bright and fun ficticious magazine that captures the true beauty and elegance of women intended for an audience of young women in their early twenties through their early thirties.

The purpose of this project was to create an eight page magazine layout that contains a first cover, a masthead, table of contents, two editorial pages, a feature spread, and a fourth cover. I chose the title, “Balter,” from a small list of names that our class came up with. I interpret the word, balter, as “dancing through life,” which perfectly illustrates the nature and culture of my magazine.
